1. Lease/Purchase a new Volvo

2. Purchase your current Volvo

60 Days - Vehicle Inspection
In order to determine any excess wear, a complimentary vehicle inspection will be performed on your Volvo.
Appointment
A representative will contact you to schedule a complimentary vehicle inspection.
Location
To make the inspection as convenient as possible, you have the option to have your vehicle inspected at your home, office, or any other location.
Repairs
In the event that your inspection report indicates that repairs are necessary, you can schedule repairs with Motorcars Volvo. It's important to keep all receipts in order to confirm that the repairs were completed.

30 Days - Turn-In Appointment

Turn-In Appointment
It's important to remember to return all keys, key fobs, your owner's manual, and the spare tire or tire sealant kit to your Volvo retailer when returning your vehicle.

Lease-End
Repairs
After your inspection, if you have made any repairs to your Volvo make sure to notify Motorcars Volvo when returning your vehicle. We ask that you please provide copies of the repair receipts, including your vehicle's VIN and account number on each copy.

End-of-Term Payments
Within one to two weeks after you turn-in your Volvo, you may receive an invoice for any excess wear and use charges. Below, you will find more information about what's considered excess wear and use.
Excess Wear and Use

From shopping carts to baseball games, wear and tear can come from anywhere. Not to worry, normal wear and use is expected on every leased vehicle. Use the chart below to compare normal vs. excessive wear and use.
Dents
Normal Wear & Use

- Smaller than or equal to 1.5-inches in diameter
- Three or fewer dents per panel
Excess Wear & Use

- Larger than 1.5-inches in diameter
- Four or more dings and dents per panel
- Dents that have been previously repainted
Interior
Normal Wear & Use

- Minimal stains that can easily be removed
Excess Wear & Use

- Tears, burns or singes in cloth or leather
- Heavy stains that cannot be removed
Paint and Body Damage
Normal Wear & Use

- Surface scratches that will polish out
- Minor bumper scratches that do not break the paint
- Three or fewer dings per panel, 1-inch in diameter or less
Excess Wear & Use

- Scratches that exceed 3.5-inches in length
- Excessive number of paint chips
- Gouges, cracks or tears on bumper covers or body cladding
- Four or more dings per panel
Glass and Headlights/Taillights
Normal Wear & Use

- Minor glass chips
- Scratches on the windshield that are outside the wiper field
Excess Wear & Use

- Chips, stars or scratches on the windshield within the wiper field
- Any crack in the windshield, lens or lens cover
Wheels
Normal Wear & Use

- Cosmetic scrapes that do not affect the performance of the wheel
Excess Wear & Use

- Previously repaired wheel gouges or deep scrapes
- Any damage that affects the wheel performance
Tires
Normal Wear & Use

- Tread depth of 4/32 of an inch or greater at the minimum point of thickness
Excess Wear & Use

- Tread depth less than 4/32 of an inch
- Tires that are the wrong size or speed rating
- Cut, torn or plugged sidewall
Other examples of excess wear and use include, but are not limited to missing, inoperable or cracked headlights, tail lights, turn signals, rearview or outside mirrors, or missing or inoperable seat belts or air bag, engine damage or inoperable vehicle, or missing audio equipment.
